Job Title: Technology Manager & Sales Engineer

About the Role:
Our client provides turnkey patient entertainment technology solutions for hospitals, ensuring in-room technology supports patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Reporting to the VP of Operations and based in Cambridge, Ontario (with field responsibilities), the Technology Manager & Sales Engineer leads the testing, evaluation, procurement, and approval of technology solutions. The role also supports sales planning through costing, materials forecasting, and technical solution development. Strong expertise in low voltage systems, RF, structured cabling, and integrated communications is required.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and oversee deployed solutions, including low voltage, RF, and structured cabling systems.

Review architectural, network, and technical drawings to develop accurate system designs.

Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget objectives.

Develop detailed system designs, bills of materials, and statements of work.

Support and coordinate internal and external teams during project deployment.

Evaluate, test, and approve new technologies aligned with solution offerings.

Assist with project management and installation activities as needed.
Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in structured cabling and ICAT project management.

Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems, RF, and telecommunications infrastructure.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and prepare accurate takeoffs.

Experience in hospital or healthcare environments preferred.

Familiarity with CSA-C22.2 No and relevant safety standards.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project), AutoCAD, and Adobe tools.

Willingness to travel nationally for site visits and project support.
