The ideal candidate will be adept at coordinating a multidisciplinary team to optimize project outcomes. With strong analytical skills and impeccable organizational abilities, the Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of administrative support documentation, methodologies, and reports, all while adhering to budget constraints.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br /><ul><li>Collaborate closely with the General Manager, Field Superintendent, internal Project Managers, and field supervisors to define project specifications.</li><li>Gain an in-depth understanding of the unique characteristics and methodologies of each project to enhance operational efficiencies.</li><li>Prepare comprehensive timecard reports, daily field information, and regular summaries to track project progress.</li><li>Assist in determining equipment and material requirements for each project, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and project timelines.</li><li>Support the planning of construction operations, scheduling intermediate phases to meet project deadlines effectively.</li><li>Maintain and update project schedules, record meeting minutes, and actively participate in Operational Meetings.</li><li>Manage requests for project-specific change orders and scope changes efficiently.</li><li>Evaluate project progress meticulously and generate detailed progress reports for stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards, promptly reporting any concerns or issues.</li><li>Provide regular updates to the Project Manager regarding daily job progress.</li></ul><strong>Requirements:</strong><br /><ul><li>Proven experience as a project coordinator in heavy-civil and deep utilities-related projects.</li><li>Thorough understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project coordination principles.</li><li>Familiarity with quality assurance and health & safety standards.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office, Project, Heavy Job, with training provided for other Earthmoving software.</li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management abilities.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership qualities and a team-oriented mindset.</li><li>Availability to visit multiple work sites with reliable transportation.</li><li>PMP or equivalent certification would be advantageous.</li><li>Post-secondary certificate in Engineering (CET) preferred.</li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
