PPC Marketing Specialist

Job Description

This role is responsible for driving qualified leads and brand visibility across the 401 Group of Companies, including Franchise Automotive Dealerships, 401 Auto Financing, CampMart, and Yamaha. The ideal candidate is a Google Ads Expert with a proven track record of managing complex search campaigns, optimizing for conversion, and leveraging AI to scale lead volume while maintaining a benchmark of Cost Per Lead (CPL) and presenting a continuous positive Return on Ad Spend.

Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Responsibilities:

Google Ads & Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

  • Develop and manage high-intent Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, YouTube, and Performance Max) focused specifically on lead acquisition.

  • Perform deep keyword research, manage negative keyword lists, and optimize Quality Scores to ensure maximum ad relevance and present a positive return on ad spend.

  • Apply advanced bidding strategies and work with other departments and CRM providers to report on end conversion results

  • A/B test ad copy, extensions, and landing pages to improve click-through rates and conversion rates.

AI Content Automation & Innovation

  • Work with the team's lead on AI-powered tools to streamline ad copy generation and creative asset production.
  • Collaborate with the team to Implement AI technologies to personalize messaging and automate repetitive marketing tasks.

Creatives

  • Strong ability to communicate design needs for updated ad creatives to optimize Google lead generation strategies

  • Diligently follow multiple OEM brand guidelines with both designs and ad copy

  • Continuously seeking ways to improve the customer journey through ad designs and

Data Analysis & Performance Reporting

  • Provide regular, insightful reports to the Marketing Director, focusing on lead quality, CPL, and conversion-to-sale metrics.

  • Analyze campaign data to identify shifts in consumer behavior and make real-time strategic adjustments.

  • Provide ongoing suggestions to improve results through landing page and website optimizations

  • Provide monthly reporting to Brand Manager for co-op reimbursement purposes

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in marketing, with at least 2+ years of dedicated experience managing Google Ads.

  • Post secondary diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Expert-level knowledge of Google Ads Manager and Google Analytics (GA4).

  • Proficiency in Meta Business Manager and Google Tag Manager is an asset

  • Experience working with a CRM systems and lead-tracking software

  • Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable growth strategies.

  • Ability to craft compelling, high-converting ad copy and collaborate with the creative team on visual assets.

  • Strong collaboration skills to work across various business lines (Financing, Automotive, Powersports, RV, and Marine) and work with other departments such as Sales to drive proven results
