Material Handler
Job Description
Our SE Calgary client is currently looking for a new team member to join their warehouse team on a temporary basis They offer a clean and well-organized warehouse space as your worksite, a small cohesive team that enjoys working together to fill customer orders and at busy times, the opportunity for overtimeResponsibilities:
- Loading, unloading and maneuvering heavy loads.
- Identify and prepare orders for shipment, inspecting for any flaws or damage.
- Dealing with customers, filling orders, helping to resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of general warehouse experience.
- Experience on the counterbalance forklift, would be well-regarded, though not required.
- Experience loading, unloading and maneuvering heavy loads.
- Must be a good communicator and proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English.
- Customer-service experience would be an asset.
- Capable of repetitive lifting of heavy loads of floor tile with team assistance available.
- Must have steel toed boots.
