Job Description

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Computer Application Support for a 1-year contract with our Public Sector Client in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Secret level Security clearance. The opportunity is remote work for the duration of the contract.<br><strong>The Computer Application Support Specialist will have the following responsibilities:</strong><br><ul><li> Provide assistance in securing and governance of cloud assets; <br></li><li> Implement DevSecOps standards and best practices; <br></li><li> Provide input, guidance, and recommendations to CJCR regarding the deployment of standardized and secure cloud resources; <br></li><li> Configure and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) objects to the CJCR Azure Landing Zone; <br></li><li> Provide operational support to the CJCR Azure Landing Zone; <br></li><li> Contribute to and facilitate the migration of on-premises applications and assets to the cloud; <br></li><li> Knowledge transfer for cloud migration, continuous integration, and deployment best practices; <br></li><li> Creates conversation notes, design documentation, change management documentation and other work requested; <br></li><li> Provides technical advice and guidance to management and clients to support decisions with respect to trends and new technology products in the cloud; <br></li><li> Participate in discussions/meetings/working groups with CJCR and DND stakeholders. <br></li></ul><strong>The Computer Application Support Specialist must meet the following mandatory requirements:</strong><br><ul><li>Must hold an undergraduate's degree in Computer Science, Engineering/Applied Science, Science, Mathematics or a related field;<br></li><li>5+ years of experience in the past 10 years, working with developing, testing, and integrating CSD for operational use;<br></li><li>5+ years of experience in the past 10 years, preparing technical documentation to support the usability and management of CSD for operational use;<br></li><li>Must be eligible for a reliability level security clearance;<br></li><li>Full fluency in English (Verbal, written);<br></li></ul>If you are interested in applying to our Application Support position, please submit your resume as soon as possible by clicking on the 'Apply with Adecco' button.<br>CAB7616<br>@@j<br><br></br><br>
