<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly motivated and detail-oriented Land Development Designer to join our client's growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and coordination of land development projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You will play a key role in preparing engineering designs, technical reports, and construction documents, while working closely with project managers, clients, and municipal authorities.</p><ul><li>Pay Rate: 100K - $130K / year (based on experience)</li><li>Location: Kitchener / Waterloo</li><li>Job type: Permanent | Full-time</li></ul><p>How to apply: please reach out to lindsay.lambert@adecco.ca with your resume and apply today.</p><h3>Why you should apply</h3><ul><li>Competitive Base Salary + Bonus</li><li>Benefits</li><li>Vacation</li><li>Hybrid</li><li>Stocks</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Analyze and interpret background project data using engineering expertise and critical thinking</li><li>Conduct detailed engineering design and analysis, including storm and sanitary systems, water distribution networks, stormwater management facilities, roadways, and noise assessments</li><li>Collaborate with CAD technicians to accurately translate design concepts into technical drawings</li><li>Prepare clear and comprehensive technical reports to support design submissions and regulatory approvals</li><li>Perform design calculations in accordance with engineering principles, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, clients, and consultants to ensure alignment of designs with project scope and objectives</li><li>Participate in project meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support timely and efficient project execution</li><li>Perform additional related duties as required to support project success</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering (a Master\'s degree is considered an asset)</li><li>5 to 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally within a consulting environment</li><li>Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)</li><li>Strong knowledge of engineering principles, applicable technical standards, and regulatory requirements</li><li>Demonstrated attention to detail, with excellent independent judgment and decision-making capabilities</li><li>Proven ability to prepare high-quality technical reports and communicate effectively—both verbally and in writing—with clients and team members</li><li>A collaborative and proactive team player with a solutions-oriented approach to design challenges</li><li>Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada</li></ul></p>
