ABOUT THE ROLE
- The Body Shop Appraiser is responsible for preparing collision estimates and determining total servicing needs to correct vehicle problems, including mechanical and cosmetic
- Estimating and documenting all incoming damaged vehicles to capture all visible damages
- Managing collision related communication from customers, insurance companies, sublet vendors and group dealerships
- Coordinating all aspects of the repair process and other responsibilities as needed
ABOUT YOU
- Preference will be given to candidates with appraising experience in a body shop or insurance company
- You will be required to have knowledge of mechanical and autobody repair process, estimating, invoicing and paper flow
- Aptitude for providing exceptional customer service
- Interest in career development and learning opportunities including obtaining BMW/MINI and Honda Pro certification
- Excellent attention to detail with strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with figures and perform mathematical calculations
- Preference for candidates with experience with Mitchell, Audatex and Repair Centre
- Desire to work in a team environment to achieve common goals
