Svab Insurance Inc. is a well-established Insurance Brokerage firm located in Thornhill, ON with over 30 years of experience delivering exceptional customer service while continuously working toward growth. We are currently seeking an Administrator to join our team, with opportunity for professional growth within the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Handle client inquiries via phone, email, and written correspondence in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain and update client records with accuracy
- Submit client claims and review member-submitted claims for adjudication
- Enroll, terminate, and update member records on various insurance carrier systems
- Provide administrative and service support to clients
- Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, correspondence, bulletins, and reports accurately and within required timelines
- Prospect for new opportunities when time permits
- Assist with marketing initiatives, including newsletter development and distribution
- Support other administrative functions as required
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience
- Group Insurance Industry experience is considered an asset
- Ability to work in a hybrid work environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all organizational levels
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort working in an Office 365 environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Ability to multitask effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision
- Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills
- Proactive, takes initiative, and anticipates business needs
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year, PLUS Benefits
