COMMENCING: As soon as can be arranged.

COMPENSATION: $16.54 per hour

HOURS: As scheduled, Monday through Friday

JOB SUMMARY:

A School Crossing Guard is required to assist children outdoors with crossing busy intersections near the school.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, as scheduled and based on employees availability:

  • 8:30 am – 9:00 am
  • 11:45 am - 12:45 pm
  • 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm

This position supports the strategic actions of the Multi-Year Strategic Plan.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Considered Applicants must:

  • Enjoy working with students and youth.
  • Demonstrate responsibility.
  • Demonstrate initiative and maturity.
  • Ability to assist and interact with children and youth.
  • Respect In School or equivalent training is required.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search & Clear report from the Child Abuse Registry.
