The Role
The Role
This role is responsible for leading and owning the in-market demand planning and inventory management process by implementing and championing that process for the Canadian market. This role will support the business to successfully achieve its business objectives through driving improved demand planning and inventory forecast accuracy/visibility.

You Will

  • Manage accurate demand forecasts that incorporate current and relevant market information (trends, market conditions) to predict customer future demand and provide factory team with the right information to plan to meet that demand; collaborates with partners to refine forecasts
  • Owns relevant meetings of the S&OP cycle and demand planning tool to optimise statistical forecasting and driving improving baseline demand. Identify forecast accuracy root causes and refine process to ensure continuous improvement of the overall process to ensure best in class customer service.
  • Proactively monitor and report inventory levels and in transit supply to ensure proper allocation for multiple Distribution regions and customers, ensuring the business and customers receive accurate stock ETA dates.
  • Identify and contribute to plans to reduce excess, non-current and aged inventory for Retail and Commercial.
  • Reviews current inventory levels and adjusts supply plans to align with target levels of safety stock and total inventory plans. Where possible optimize inventory supply routing
  • Identify and address any inventory supply issues in line with the company business rules, collaborating with global supply chain for continuous improvement opportunities, and communicate in-market activities that may impact wider supply chain
  • Develop data collection reports to determine efficient and effective business decisions to balance supply and demand; creates ad hoc reports as necessary

You Have

  • 3-5 years in Demand/Supply Planning, Inventory Management and or supply chain management
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant supply chain industry experience
  • Relevant Demand Planning Software e.g. Vanguard/Demantra/SAP
  • Advanced level Excel Skills
  • Knowledge of statistical models
  • Knowledge of Demand Planning and S&OP Cycle and key activties
  • Data Cleansing
  • Reporting and analytics (e.g. Power BI)
  • Able to learn new systems quickly
  • Commercial Acumen, strong financial understanding and analytical skills
