About The Role

The Sr. Developer role is pivotal in driving the development and optimization of data solutions within our organization. With a focus on Databricks SQL Databricks Workflows and PySpark the candidate will contribute to enhancing data processing capabilities. This position requires expertise in the Provider domain and offers a hybrid work model with day shifts. The role does not require travel.

In This Role, You Will

Develop and optimize data solutions using Databricks SQL to enhance data processing efficiency and accuracy.

Implement and manage Databricks Workflows to streamline data operations and ensure seamless integration across platforms.
Utilize PySpark to process large datasets ensuring high performance and scalability in data handling.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust validation and error-checking mechanisms.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain operational efficiency.
Document processes and solutions thoroughly to ensure knowledge transfer and facilitate future enhancements.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals.
Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering within the company.
Support the Provider domain by developing tailored solutions that address specific industry challenges.

Work model: Hybrid

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3-4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Nova Scotia, Cananda. What You Need To Have To Be Considered
