<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: <br /><p>Job Summary</p><p>The Shipper & Receiver will be responsible for scheduling and controlling incoming/outgoing shipments to/from customers, vendors, suppliers etc. Ensuring incoming and outgoing materials are in good condition and tracked in inventory accurately.</p><p>Details</p><ul><li>Status: 3-month contract</li><li>Shift: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm</li><li>Location: Calgary N.E.</li></ul><p>Duties and Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Communication with their colleagues, supervisors, and managers.</li><li>Identifying parts from quality control that are ready for shipment.</li><li>Responsible for creating packing slips, adding machining times, and scanning a completed work package to SharePoint.</li><li>Ensuring work packages are attached to the correct basket.</li><li>Loading all prepared shipments safely onto the truck and to the requirements of each driver.</li><li>Receiving, picking, and sorting office supplies, parts, tools, and magnesium stock.</li><li>Positioning the newly received stock into the shop.</li><li>Confirms all information for manufacturing for each received basket entering the facility.</li><li>Conducting Pre-Use Inspections of mobile equipment.</li><li>Operating equipment including hand tools, pallet jack, and forklift.</li><li>Manual and mechanical lifting/moving equipment, materials, and supplies which can include setting up and operating an overhead crane.</li><li>Adhering to health and safety protocols including always wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).</li><li>Performing routine housekeeping around the shop.</li><li>Occasional photocopying, printing, and other job duties assigned as required.</li></ul><p>Required Abilities, Knowledge, Experience</p><ul><li>1-2 years shipping and receiving experience preferred.</li><li>Basic computer skills and ability to navigate through Shipping App and SharePoint.</li><li>Experience with utilizing various hand tools.</li><li>Capable of moving heavy equipment, materials, and supplies up to 23 kg (50lbs).</li><li>Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees and supervisors.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>All applicants are thanked for their interest.</p><p><br /></p><p>Steelhaus Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.</p><p><br /></p><p>Steelhaus Technologies Inc. complies with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
