<p><h3>Base pay range</h3><p>CA$100.00/hr - CA$150.00/hr</p><h3>About the Opportunity</h3><p>Our client, a <b>publicly listed organization</b>, is seeking a <b>Senior Reporting Consultant</b> to provide critical support to their finance and controllership teams during a busy audit and reporting cycle.</p><p>This contract offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the completion of complex statutory audits and financial reporting deliverables across multiple international entities. The ideal consultant will bring a strong technical accounting foundation, hands‑on statutory reporting experience, and the ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment.</p><h3>What You’ll Be Doing:</h3><ul><li>Prepare statutory financial statements for multiple international legal entities.</li><li>Address historical audit backlogs by preparing financials, supporting working papers, and liaising directly with external auditors.</li><li>Manage ongoing statutory and pension audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance with local regulations.</li><li>Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance, tax, and controllership teams to support intercompany transactions and reconciliations.</li><li>Respond to auditor queries, assist with audit planning, and ensure audit‑ready documentation is complete and accurate.</li><li>Extract, analyze, and manipulate large data sets from SAP ECC for statutory and management reporting purposes.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives, including opportunities to enhance automation and reporting efficiency.</li></ul><h3>What You’ll Bring:</h3><ul><li><b>Designation:</b> CPA or equivalent (required).</li><li><b>ERP Systems:</b> Advanced experience with <b>SAP.</b></li><li><b>Technical Skills:</b> Advanced <b>Excel</b> proficiency, including pivot tables and complex data analysis.</li><li><b>Experience:</b> Minimum 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with hands‑on exposure to multi‑entity statutory reporting and audit processes.</li><li><b>Background:</b> Strong preference for candidates with <b>industry experience</b> (not solely public practice), particularly within large, multinational corporations.</li></ul><h3>What Success Looks Like</h3><ul><li>Successful completion of multi‑year statutory audits and clearance of outstanding backlogs.</li><li>Timely delivery of all financial statements and supporting documentation.</li><li>Streamlined audit processes and improved reporting efficiency within the controllership function.</li></ul><h3>Next Steps</h3><p>We here at Clarity Recruitment would like to thank you for your application.</p><p>Only those chosen for a phone interview will be contacted via email and text to set up a call.</p><h3>Diversity and Inclusion</h3><p>Clarity Recruitment and our client are firmly committed to fostering diversity within our community.
