THE POSITION
The
Senior Financial Analyst
plays a key role in driving informed business decisions through financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic insight. Working closely with senior leadership, this role analyzes financial performance, develops forward-looking models, and strengthens reporting processes to support the company's continued growth.

Reporting to the Controller, this position combines analytical expertise with strong business acumen to deliver meaningful financial insights and improve planning accuracy. The Senior Financial Analyst is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

How You Will Be Making An Impact

  • Lead financial analysis of results, budgets, and forecasts to identify performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • Deliver concise, insight-driven reporting and dashboards for senior leadership.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide clear variance analysis with actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct cost and profitability analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate and enhance the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
  • Contribute to month-end and year-end close, ensuring accuracy through thoughtful variance analysis and reconciliations.
  • Support audit activities and inventory analysis with strong analytical oversight.
  • Oversee payroll processing (CAD & US), accrual calculations, and borrowing base reporting with accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen reporting efficiency and internal controls.

What Skills And Experience You Require

  • CPA designation or active enrollment preferred.
  • 5–8+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance.
  • Advanced financial modeling expertise and strong command of Excel and reporting tools.
  • Deep understanding of financial statements and performance drivers.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and confidently.
  • Strategic mindset with strong attention to detail and accountability.
