<p >We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated individual to ensure the safety and security of Private facilities. As a <strong>Security Guard</strong>, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through various tasks and duties such as:</p><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li >Access control</li><li >Extensive interior and exterior foot patrols</li><li >Deterring theft and vandalism</li><li >Preventing unauthorized access</li><li >Enforcing client regulations</li><li >Responding to emergency calls</li><li >The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, and strong communication skills in English and French is considered an asset. </li></ul><p > </p><p ><strong>MANDATORY REQUIREMENT </strong></p><p >Applicants must be eligible to receive an Enhanced Top-Secret Security Clearance. The process includes your ability to provide documentation of at least <strong>10 years of recent residency, employment, all travel, education and more.</strong></p><p >This is an invasive process conducted by Government Security Officials and will require:</p><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li >Honest and sincere disclosure of detailed personal information</li><li >Personal security interview</li><li >Interviews with neighbors, colleagues, and/or friends</li><li >Submission to:<ul style="list-style-type:circle;"><li ><strong>Criminal Background check</strong> (including fingerprints)</li><li ><strong>Polygraph testing</strong></li><li ><strong>Psychological testing</strong></li><li ><strong>Complete credit check</strong>, including full financial disclosure of assets and debts</li></ul></li></ul><p > </p><p ><strong>QUALIFICATION:</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li >Must be reliable, mature, and available to work either <strong>days and/or nights</strong> as operationally required</li><li >All applicants <strong>will be required to work 12-hour night shifts from 0600-1800 or 1800-0600 </strong>upon commencement. </li><li >Must be able to conduct both <strong>interior and exterior patrols</strong> during both day and night</li><li >Strong customer service skills</li><li >Ability to take directives and work in a team</li><li >Basic computer proficiency: Excel, Word, Email, access control software, etc.</li><li >Education in <strong>Law and Security, Correctional Worker, Security Management</strong> or related University-level education is preferred</li><li >Security Guard License certification </li><li >First aid and CPR certification</li><li ><strong>Minimum 2 years of experience</strong> in a related field preferred</li></ul><p > </p><p ><strong>WHAT WE OFFER:</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li >$28 per hour </li><li ><strong>Full benefits package</strong> after 3 months</li><li ><strong>Pension plan, paid sick days</strong> (after 12 months), and free uniforms</li><li >Opportunities for advancement and development within Securitas Canada.</li></ul><p > </p><p><strong>Securitas Canada</strong> celebrates diversity, and we welcome and encourage applications from the four designated groups: namely women, aboriginal people, visible minorities and persons with disabilities.
