Position Overview
Client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Integration Lead to provide hands-on leadership for the design, implementation, and management of enterprise integration solutions within an SAP S/4HANA environment. The successful candidate will lead complex SAP integration initiatives, ensuring seamless connectivity between SAP systems and multiple internal and external applications while aligning with government standards, timelines, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership for all SAP S/4HANA integration activities across the Government of Manitoba and associated in-scope organizations
Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of SAP integration solutions
Develop and maintain integration architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps aligned with business and IT goals
Analyze end-to-end system interactions and dependencies to ensure robust integration design
Coordinate and oversee integration testing across multiple functional streams
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and process integration issues with minimal business impact
Monitor and optimize integration performance to ensure scalability, reliability, and security
Partner with Manitoba leadership teams and system integrators to ensure shared accountability for quality, deliverables, and timelines
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and hands-on leadership to development and integration teams
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Uphold professional, technical, and ethical standards in accordance with Manitoba's code of conduct
Mandatory Qualifications and Experience
Demonstrated experience leading SAP S/4HANA integration initiatives, including at least three (3) end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations across on-premise and cloud environments
Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration Suite
Strong expertise in configuring integration adapters, including REST, SOAP, IDOC, RFC, HTTP, SFTP, and File
Proven experience in ABAP integration development, including RFC, BAPI, IDOC, and ABAP Proxies
Strong understanding of SAP integration architecture, enterprise system design, and business process integration
Ability to translate business requirements into technical integration specifications
Minimum 4 years of experience working within a government or Public Sector environment
Leadership and Professional Skills SAP
Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams in complex enterprise environments
Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with business leaders, project managers, and system integrators
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Commitment to quality, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement
