Job Description / Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise in tax determination, reporting, and compliance, including e-invoicing regulations across multiple LATAM jurisdictions.
- Work hands-on with e-invoicing platforms such as SAP DRC, Peppol, Pagero, Sovos, or similar, integrating them with SAP S/4HANA.
- Apply deep knowledge of LATAM tax requirements and electronic fiscal documents (CFDi - Mexico, Factura Electrónica - Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, etc.).
- Perform detailed analysis and integration design across SAP S/4HANA modules (MM, SD, FI), with emphasis on LATAM localization requirements.
- Support project management, implementation planning, testing, and deployment activities.
- Understand tax data flow, system architecture, and integrations between ERP and tax/compliance platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Consultants, Architects, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Support, and Tax Research teams across LATAM.
- Prepare Functional Specifications, use cases, documentation, and presentations in both English and Spanish.
- Contribute to the product development lifecycle by working with Development, QA, and Documentation teams.
- Create end-user documentation, process flows, and diagrams for customers and internal teams.
- Support product rollouts, customer onboarding, and provide domain expertise during implementations.
- Provide 2nd-level support, training, and guidance to Support, Professional Services, and integration partners.
- Participate in sales calls and presentations to prospects within LATAM regions.
Qualifications
- Required: 3+ years of experience in SAP localization for LATAM (Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, etc.).
- Required: Hands-on experience with e-invoicing compliance and implementation in production environments.
- Required: Experience with Indirect Tax Compliance and E-Invoicing across multiple LATAM countries.
- Required: Practical experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation and support.
- Required: Experience with at least one major e-invoicing or tax compliance platform.
- Strong understanding of LATAM regulatory requirements and tax authorities.
Special Skills & Knowledge
- Required: Professional proficiency in Spanish (written and verbal).
- Deep understanding of LATAM e-invoicing formats, XML structures, digital signatures, and validation rules.
- Knowledge of SAP localization features for LATAM regions.
- Familiarity with LATAM payment methods, withholding taxes, and fiscal reporting.

- Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).

- Strong planning, organization, and multitasking abilities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently or in remote teams.
