Your role will combine customer service with essential security protocols to protect both the premises and its patrons.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Proactively prevent shoplifting, particularly in high-theft areas.</li><li>Identify and address instances of trespassing, enforcing the Trespass to Property Act as necessary.</li><li>Conduct thorough patrols and monitor designated areas within the retail space.</li><li>Investigate and report security breaches, incidents, and concerning behaviors.</li><li>Record observations, incidents, and surveillance activities in detailed reports.</li><li>Provide customer service-oriented interaction with patrons while enforcing security protocols.</li><li>Identify and respond to potentially harmful or disruptive behavior.</li><li>Escalate situations and assist law enforcement when needed.</li><li>Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security matters.</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Valid Ontario security license.</li><li>Previous security experience, preferably in a retail setting, is an asset.</li><li>Must have a minimum 1 years of retail security experience</li><li>Physical capability to stand for 10-12 hours.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with an alert, responsive demeanor.</li><li>Ability to remain calm and act effectively in emergency situations.</li></ul><p>Be a part of a security agency that's transforming the industry</p><p>Synergy Protection Group Inc. values diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
