Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and supporting a positive patient experience. Duties

  • Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
  • Take and develop digital radiographs as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
  • Assist with patient examinations and prepare patients for procedures
  • Support the dental team with sterilization, instrument setup, and maintaining infection control protocols
  • Manage patient records accurately using Abledent software
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns professionally
  • Collaborate with dentists on treatment plans, especially in orthodontics and pediatrics cases
  • Ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all patients

Experience

  • Previous dental hygiene experience is preferred, with familiarity in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics advantageous
  • Experience working in a dental office setting with knowledge of dental assisting procedures is desirable
  • Proficiency in Abledent or other dental practice management software is preferred
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
  • Bilingual abilities are highly valued to enhance communication with diverse patient populations
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients
  • Prior experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
