<p><h3>About the Marketing Director Position</h3><p>We’re seeking a creative and motivated individual to join our team as a <b>Marketing Director</b>. In this role, you’ll manage QSURJ’s public presence across social media platforms, design engaging graphics, and promote the journal’s issues, events, and values to a wider audience. As our team looks to expand its digital reach this year, the Marketing Director will play a key role in shaping our brand and growing engagement across all major channels.</p><p>Our ideal candidate is a strong communicator with an eye for design and an understanding of social media strategy. Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is helpful, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as valuable.</p><h3>Marketing Director Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Manage and grow QSURJ’s presence across <b>social media platforms</b> (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, etc.)</li><li>Design and post <b>graphics, promotional materials, and announcements</b> for upcoming issues, calls for submissions, and events</li><li>Develop and maintain a <b>content calendar</b> to ensure consistent and timely posting</li><li>Collaborate with the <b>Event Director</b> to promote journal events and boost attendance</li><li>Coordinate with the <b>editorial team</b> to highlight published work and celebrate contributors</li><li>Track and report on <b>social media analytics</b> to measure engagement and suggest improvements</li><li>Ensure all communications align with the <b>journal’s mission, tone, and values</b></li><li>Explore opportunities for outreach and partnerships to increase the journal’s visibility</li></ul></p> #J-18808-Ljbffr
