<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Reports to:</strong> Parts Manager/Production Supervisor</p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><ol><li><strong>Parts Inventory Management:</strong></li><ul><li>Quote, order, receive, organize, and store incoming parts and materials in designated storage areas.</li><li>Track inventory levels and perform regular stock checks to ensure adequate supply for production.</li></ul><li><strong>Parts Distribution:</strong></li><ul><li>Deliver parts and materials to production lines or other plant locations as needed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.</li><li>Operate motor vehicles, forklifts, or other equipment for parts transportation.</li></ul><li><strong>Documentation and Tracking:</strong></li><ul><li>Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing parts using inventory management systems.</li><li>Verify part numbers, quantities, and quality against purchase orders or production needs.</li></ul><li><strong>Safety and Compliance:</strong></li><ul><li>Follow all workplace safety procedures, including safe lifting techniques and equipment handling protocols.</li><li>Ensure the proper storage of hazardous materials, adhering to safety and compliance guidelines.</li></ul><li><strong>Coordination and Communication:</strong></li><ul><li>Collaborate with production teams, warehouse staff, and supervisors to address parts shortages or urgent requests.</li><li>Report inventory discrepancies, damaged parts, incorrect parts or other supply issues promptly.</li></ul><li><strong>Support Production Goals:</strong></li><ul><li>Assist with organizing and maintaining clean and efficient storage areas.</li><li>Ability to work overtime as required to meet deadlines.</li></ul></ol><strong>Qualifications:</strong><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li><strong>License:</strong> Minimum of a <strong>G2 Driver's License</strong> (valid in Ontario).</li><li><strong>Driving Record:</strong> Clean driver's abstract with no major infractions.</li><li><strong>Background Check:</strong> Clean criminal background check.</li><li><strong>Work Authorization:</strong> Legally authorized to work in Canada.</li><li><strong>Location:</strong> Must be able to commute to <strong>Mississauga, Ontario.</strong></li><li><strong>Availability:</strong> Minimum of <strong>40 hours per week</strong>, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.</li></ul><strong>Skills and Attributes:</strong><ul><li><strong>Organized:</strong> Strong organizational skills for managing inventory and parts flow.</li><li><strong>Dependable:</strong> Reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines.</li><li><strong>Safety-Conscious:</strong> Follows safety protocols and operational guidelines strictly.</li><li><strong>Team-Oriented:</strong> Works collaboratively with various departments to ensure smooth production operations.</li><li><strong>Physically Capable:</strong> Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.</li><li><strong>Attention to Detail:</strong> Ensures accurate tracking, labeling, and documentation of parts.</li></ul><strong>Work Environment:</strong><ul><li><strong>Physical Demands:</strong> Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and carrying.</li><li><strong>Conditions:</strong> Work in indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.</li></ul><strong>Compensation and Benefits:</strong><ul><li>Competitive hourly wage.</li><li>Overtime opportunities.</li><li>Health & dental benefits.</li><li>Potential for career growth and training within the Production department.</li></ul><p></p></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
