The Outreach Coordinator plays an important role in growing the practice by strengthening relationships within the community and creating meaningful connections that drive awareness, trust, and new patient growth. This role represents the clinic at community events, health fairs, schools, and outreach programs, helping to promote our services and highlight our commitment to accessible, compassionate dental care.


The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, personable, and community-minded—someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with people, building partnerships, and finding creative ways to connect the clinic to the community it serves.

  • Job Type: Part Time

  • Wage range Pay: $22-$25 hourly


Key Responsibilities


Community Engagement



  • Act as the public representative of the clinic at local events, community fairs, school programs, and other outreach initiatives.

  • Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses, schools, community centers, and service organizations.

  • Identify opportunities for community presence and coordinate participation to increase visibility and awareness.

  • Distribute promotional materials and educate the public on the clinic’s services, values, and approach to patient care.

  • Maintain a professional, approachable, and friendly presence at all times while representing the clinic.


Outreach & Patient Support



  • Serve as a liaison between potential patients and the clinic, providing information, answering questions, and helping coordinate connections for care.

  • Collaborate with the front desk and marketing teams to ensure alignment on messaging, campaigns, and outreach goals.

  • Assist with in-clinic promotions, referral programs, and patient engagement initiatives to support practice growth.

  • Track and report on outreach activities, including attendance, engagement, and patient leads generated from events.


Relationship Building & Coordination



  • Build strong, positive relationships with local partners and organizations to expand the clinic’s network and visibility.

  • Work collaboratively with clinic and regional teams to align community engagement activities with practice objectives.

  • Provide feedback from community interactions to help inform marketing and patient experience strategies.


Qualifications & Requirements



  • 1+ years of experience in outreach, community engagement, marketing, or social services.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with people.

  • Experience working in diverse or multicultural communities is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

  • Second language proficiency relevant to the community served is an asset.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required depending on location.

  • Communication: Clear, confident, and approachable communicator, both one-on-one and in group settings.

  • Relationship Building: Naturally connects with others and builds trust through authenticity and empathy.

  • Community Engagement: Comfortable engaging diverse audiences in both structured and informal environments.

  • Public Speaking: Able to represent the clinic confidently in front of small and large audiences.

  • Organization: Strong coordination skills with attention to follow-up and detail.

  • Cultural Awareness: Demonstrates inclusivity and respect for diverse communities.


Working Conditions


This role includes a mix of office-based and community-based work. The Outreach Coordinator will spend time at events, schools, community centers, and outdoor venues representing the clinic. The position requires flexibility, as events may occur on evenings or weekends. Travel within the community is frequent, and some physical activity may be involved in setting up displays or materials. The role requires comfort engaging with the public, sometimes in busy or high-energy environments, while maintaining professionalism and approachability.
