Kinaxis Solution Architect
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Kinaxis Solution Architect to join a top manufacturing company based in Montreal, QC. This position is remote across Canada following EST working hours.
The individual will be responsible for designing and implementing supply chain planning solutions using the Kinaxis Maestro platform, by deeply understanding client business needs, translating them into technical specifications, and architecting customized solutions within the Kinaxis system. The individual will have knowledge of the RapidResponse/Maestro modules such as demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, sales and operations planning, and capacity planning, while collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery The candidate will be acting as the technical lead for Kinaxis implementations across various supply chain planning domains. The successful candidate for this role will work with internal teams as well as external partners including outsources and technology application vendors. This position requires hands-on experience in advanced planning tool such as Kinaxis RapidResponse, integration knowledge with SAP and non-SAP transactional systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, and develop comprehensive Kinaxis solutions, including system configuration, data mapping, workflows, and integrations with other enterprise systems such as SAP ECC.
Create detailed technical documents outlining system functionalities, data structures, and integration points within the Kinaxis platform
Provide SME during implementations of operations planning projects leveraging our current planning applications such as SAP ECC, SAP APO, Kinaxis Maestro, and Talend/Databricks integration tools.
Manage data mapping and integration between Kinaxis and other enterprise systems such as SAP ECC.
Provide training to end users on the Kinaxis system functionalities and troubleshoot postimplementation issues
Possess deep knowledge of various Kinaxis modules such as demand forecasting, supply planning, capacity planning, inventory planning, and S&OP to tailor solutions to specific client needs
Coordinates system integration testing based on user or system design specifications
Analyze highly complex business requirements and problems to ensure logic and design is in alignment with the core architecture of the systems / application
Must haves
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information System, Information Technology, or related technical field with 10 years’ experience OR a Masters degree with 8+ years of related experience
Hands on experience in configuring and supporting process design in Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse with strong understanding of the modules
Extensive experience with Kinaxis configuration, data modeling, and advanced features.
Strong knowledge of Production Planning/MRP, Supply Planning, Demand Planning and PP/DS
Familiarity with data integration tools such as Talend/Databricks, system architecture, and database concepts within Kinaxis
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
Have implemented Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro multiple end-to-end life cycle projects
Experience with industry standard ERP system implementations (waterfall and agile methodologies)
Assets
Technical experience and a working knowledge in SAP ECC MRP highly desired skill set in manufacturing environment
Experience in SAP S/4 HANA.
Experience/knowledge working in an aerospace environment
