Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Sheet Metal Supervisor for a full-time, on-site role located in Calgary, AB. The Supervisor will oversee daily operations of the sheet metal team, including managing workflow, ensuring safety, and maintaining compliance with project specifications. They will also provide hands-on leadership and guidance to team members, coordinate schedules, and ensure high-quality delivery of all projects on time. Assessment of resource requirements and fostering a positive, productive work environment will be essential responsibilities of this position.
Qualifications
Proficiency in sheet metal installation, fabrication, and repair
Experience with team leadership, project coordination, and workforce management
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and related equipment
Familiarity with safety protocols, compliance standards, and quality assurance processes
Effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
Certified Journeyman in Sheet Metal, or equivalent certification
Ability to work in a physically demanding, on-site role in Calgary, AB
Experience in training and mentoring apprentices is an asset
