The Opportunity
We seek an Intermediate Electrical & Control Designer to design and develop electrical and control systems for various energy projects.
What Youll Do
- Collaborate with engineers to define design and drawing requirements
- Develop drawing setup procedures and standards for drafting personnel
- Create conceptual plans, details, and sections to support construction and fabrication
- Review and back-check drawings for accuracy and completeness
- Integrate vendor-supplied drawings and technical data into project documentation
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and engineering standards
- Support drafting and administrative procedures as per company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or project lead
What You Bring
- Diploma in Electrical Design, Electrical Engineering Technology
- 47 years of experience in electrical and control design
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an EPC or EPCM environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel
- Experience in the oil and gas industry
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices
