Our talent specialists provide recruitment services and customized solutions to find quality candidates.<br><br><strong>Job Title: </strong>HVAC Technician<br><br>Our member is seeking a skilled and motivated <strong>HVAC Technician</strong> to join their dynamic team in <strong>Woodstock, ON.</strong><br><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br /><ul><li>Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.</li><li>Inspect HVAC systems and components for potential issues.</li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system problems.</li><li>Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and replacing filters.</li><li>Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.</li><li>Test HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality.</li><li>Follow blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturer instructions.</li><li>Comply with all safety protocols and regulations.</li></ul><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br /><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Certification or associate degree in HVAC or a related field (preferred).</li><li>Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.</li><li>Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings.</li><li>Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to HVAC work.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Good communication and customer service skills.</li></ul><strong>Skills:</strong><br /><ul><li>Ability to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.</li><li>Knowledge of mechanical systems and components.</li><li>Understanding of plumbing principles related to HVAC systems.</li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.</li><li>Experience with appliance repair and troubleshooting.</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude for diagnosing system issues.</li><li>Welding skills for joining metal components.</li></ul><strong>Job Details:</strong><br /><ul><li>Job Type: Full-time.</li><li>Pay: $43.50 – $53.50 per hour.</li><li>Expected Hours: 40 – 50 per week.</li><li>Additional Pay:</li><ul><li>Commission pay</li><li>Overtime pay</li></ul><li>Benefits:</li><ul><li>Company car</li><li>Dental care</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>RRSP match</li><li>Vision care</li></ul><li>Flexible Language Requirement:</li><ul><li>English not required</li><li>French not required</li></ul></ul><strong>Schedule:</strong><br /><ul><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>On-call</li></ul><strong>Experience Required:</strong><br /><ul><li>HVAC/R: 5 years (required).</li></ul><strong><span >Licenses/Certifications</span> Required:</strong><br /><ul><li>Driver’s license (required).</li><li>Gas license (required).</li><li>313A AC refrigeration license (required).</li></ul><strong>Please note, only qualified candidates will be contacted.<br /></strong>RJ&#39;JJSOO</p></p>
