Our client is one of the leading Digital Banks in Indonesia.</p><h3>About Our Client</h3><p><b>Our Client is one of the leading Digital Banks in Indonesia.</b></p><ul><li>Well-established digital bank</li></ul><h3>Job Description</h3><h3>Technology Strategy & Leadership</h3><ul><li>Define, communicate, and execute the overall IT strategy and roadmap aligned with the bank's business goals, focusing on agile methodologies, cloud architecture, and cutting-edge financial technology (FinTech).</li><li>Lead the entire technology organization (Software Development, Infrastructure, Security, Data, and Operations) to deliver scalable, reliable, and innovative digital banking solutions.</li><li>Evaluate and select emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge and enhance operational efficiency.</li></ul><h3>Product Development & Engineering</h3><ul><li>Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for all banking products, including core banking systems, mobile applications, APIs, and microservices.</li><li>Ensure the engineering team maintains high standards for code quality, system performance, security, and uptime (SLAs).</li><li>Foster a culture of rapid iteration, continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD), and technical excellence.</li></ul><h3>IT Operations & Infrastructure</h3><ul><li>Manage the bank''s technology infrastructure, primarily cloud-based, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.</li><li>Optimize IT operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining world-class service levels.</li><li>Oversee vendor management for all IT-related services and hardware.</li></ul><h3>Risk, Security & Compliance</h3><ul><li>Establish and enforce robust IT security and cybersecurity frameworks to protect customer data, financial assets, and the bank''s infrastructure from threats.</li><li>Ensure strict compliance with all Indonesian financial regulations, including those set by OJK (Financial Services Authority) and Bank Indonesia, particularly related to digital banking and data localization.</li><li>Develop and manage the IT risk management program.</li></ul><h3>Team Management & Culture</h3><ul><li>Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, developers, and IT professionals.</li><li>Champion a collaborative, transparent, and innovative work environment.</li><li>Act as a key liaison between the technology department and other executive functions (Product, Risk, Operations, and Finance).</li></ul><h3>The Successful Applicant</h3><h3>Required Experience</h3><ul><li>Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role (Head of IT, CTO, or VP of Engineering) within a digital bank or highly regulated FinTech company.</li><li>Non-negotiable : Direct, demonstrable prior experience as a Head of IT, Senior Developer, or Engineering Lead at another digital bank is highly preferred, demonstrating an understanding of core banking systems, regulatory technology (RegTech), and payment infrastructure.</li><li>Deep technical expertise in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices architecture, and API design.</li><li>Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.</li><li>Proven track record of managing large-scale, mission-critical systems with high security requirements.</li></ul><h3>Technical Skills</h3><ul><li>Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks relevant to FinTech (e.g., Go, Java, Python, Kotlin / Swift for mobile).</li><li>Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.</li><li>Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).</li><li>In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles (e.g., ISO 27001, penetration testing, threat modeling).</li></ul><h3>Soft Skills</h3><ul><li>Exceptional leadership and communication skills, fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (preferred).</li><li>Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and an execution-oriented mindset.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and competing priorities under pressure.</li><li>Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing both technical teams and business executives.</li></ul><h3>What’s on Offer</h3><ul><li>An opportunity to be a crucial part of building the future of banking in Indonesia.</li><li>A competitive salary, bonus structure, and comprehensive benefits package.</li><li>A dynamic, collaborative, and innovation-driven work environment.</li><li>Significant autonomy and the resources necessary to drive large-scale technological change.</li></ul><h3>Contact</h3><p>Contact: Hermawan Rahardjo</p><p>Seniority level</p><ul><li>Executive</li></ul><h3>Employment type</h3><ul><li>Full-time</li></ul><h3>Job function</h3><ul><li>Information Technology</li></ul><h3>Industries</h3><ul><li>Financial Services, Accounting, and Banking</li></ul></p>
