Responsibilities
- General Accounting Duties
- Customer Service
- Unionized Payroll
A day in the life
- Prepare and release weekly Unionized Payroll
Accounts Payable - Monthly bank reconciliations and daily account reconciliations including recording, sales, expenses, assets, and liabilities
- Prepare and/or review general ledger accounts and reconciliations
- Maintain excel-based schedules annually supporting payroll GL accounts
- Maintain and reconcile intercompany accounts
- Prepare excel-based schedules for annual audit files for external auditors
- Oversee and Maintain daily bookkeeping
- Comfortable working with Jonas Premier
- Preparation of schedules supporting sales/use tax returns
- Preparation of tax information schedules for completing a corporate income tax return
- Review and Distribute various mail (physical and digital)
- Establish and maintain customer and client relationships
- Updating and Implementing various processes and procedures related to the accounting functions
