What are we looking for?

We are currently seeking an Employer Services Officer on a permanent, full-time basis, located in Regina, SK.

As a member of the Employer Experience team, you will proactively train and educate SHEPP's participating employers, ensuring they have the information and support required to comply with the Plan's terms and conditions.

The Employer Services Officer must also maintain advanced knowledge of Plan provisions related to employer administration in order to effectively support employers and monitor ongoing compliance, including data accuracy and reconciliations of contributions to the Plan.

How will you spend your time?

  • Work collaboratively with participating employers, guiding them on data submission requirements, while using strong communication skills to resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor employer administrative roles and responsibilities in alignment with Participation Agreements and the Employer Administration Manual, ensuring ongoing compliance with Plan requirements.
  • Perform Monthly Data Reconciliations (MDR), Annual Data Verifications (ADV), Arrears calculations, Pension Adjustment (PA) audits, and other data audits to ensure accuracy of employer and employee contributions and data.
  • Manage accounts receivable in collaboration with Finance and work directly with employers to resolve outstanding remittances and reporting errors.
  • Develop and deliver training initiatives, provide daily technical and administrative Plan support, promote effective use of SHEPPweb (including access management).
  • Identify trends in data discrepancies, partner with internal teams to enhance processes and audits, support development of employer communications and training materials, and build strong, long-term employer relationships.

What expertise will you bring?

  • A post-secondary degree or certificate in business administration or related field, supplemented by three or more years of pension administration experience. A combination of equivalent education, training and experience will be considered.
  • Experience working with large relationship management databases.
  • Strong customer service and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
