The role

You'll help customers choose the right electric transportation solution, guide them through the buying process, and represent Ride the Wind with professionalism, warmth, and knowldge—both in-store and online.

Our lineup is extensive (120+ models across 6 categories), so this role starts with paid, structured training for the first few months to prepare you for high season.

You'll learn:

  • Each model from each supplier and from each category -test drive all of them
  • Model variants- colours/options/batteries
  • Direct Brand Training
  • Inventory tracking and Inventory ordering
  • Direct Shipping
  • How to qualify needs and recommend the right model
  • Our sales process from sales calls, greeting → needs analysis → product match → financing → close → delivery and follow up

What You'll do:

  • Greet and assist customers in-store and help coordinate test rides when applicable
  • Respond to leads via phone, email, and social messages
  • Recommend the right product based on customer needs, comfort, and budget
  • Explain features clearly (range, battery care, maintenance, etc)
  • Build quotes/invoices
  • Submit financing for approvals
  • Follow up with leads and customers to move deals forward
  • Help keep the showroom organized, clean, and customer-ready
  • Work closely with the team on order status, pickup/delivery, and customer updates
  • Marketing - Execute and implement
  • Content creation and participation

Commission & earning potential

This role includes flat per‑unit commission. Realistically, it takes about ~2 months to gain the product knowledge needed to sell and close confidently—so you'll start on an hourly base during training, and commission becomes a meaningful part of your pay as you ramp up and begin closing deals.

You're a great fit if you…

  • Are friendly, confident, and genuinely enjoy helping people
  • Can take direction
  • Learn fast and can retain a lot of product info (this is a deep lineup)
  • Communicate clearly in person and in writing (texts, emails, DMs)
  • Are organized and reliable (small team = big impact)
  • Can handle busy high-season days while keeping the customer experience strong

Nice-to-haves (not required)

  • Retail sales or customer service experience
  • Interest in e-bikes, powersports, or mobility products
