Purpose


Contributes to the overall success of the Real Estate Secured Lending’s (RESL) strategy and objectives. Leads and oversees multiple near‑term and long‑term initiatives to drive continued growth in the mortgage’s portfolio through leadership of pricing, retention and portfolio analytics. Works closely with senior management and various teams across the enterprise to drive insights and portfolio profitability.


What You’ll Do


Renewals & Retention



  • Responsible for strategy and performance of renewals and overall portfolio retention

  • Monitor and report on renewal and retention performance across channels. Generate insights that inform continuous improvement for existing strategies and develop new strategies to maximize retention

  • Drive initiatives and system enhancements to support renewal and retention strategies

  • Collaborate with delivery teams on training and change management across channels as required


Reporting & Analytics



  • Provide leadership and direction for the RESL Reporting and Analytics team

  • Set priorities for the team to achieve maximum effectiveness aligned with overall RESL strategic objectives

  • Maximize team capacity through effective use of automation and advanced data analysis techniques

  • Provide leadership and support to data governance and data management initiatives


Pricing Strategy & Analytics



  • Provide leadership and direction for the RESL Pricing Strategy and Analytics team

  • Ensure effective operation of the pricing management ecosystem including collaboration with Customer Insights and Data Analytics (CIDA) to maintain effective models and segmentation to deliver RESL pricing strategy objectives

  • Lead the management of key vendor relationships including contract management, performance management and change management.

  • Oversee the ongoing monitoring of competitive pricing, market intelligence gathering and margin performance including making recommendations for pricing changes and implementing pricing changes as required


Pricing Operations



  • Provide leadership and direction for the RESL Pricing Operations team

  • Maximize team capacity to deliver on SLAs for pricing exceptions through effective productivity management, automation where appropriate and effective collaboration with the field to manage demand

  • Manage appetite for pricing exceptions to deliver on business objectives including volume and margin

  • Monitor for channel conflict on pricing and ensure adherence to guidelines across channels

Education / Experience / Other Information



  • 10+ years of relevant experience in financial services, strategic initiatives, or program management

  • Experience in leading large‑scale strategic initiatives programs

  • Experience in Real Estate Secured Lending or customer experience is an asset

  • Experience in leading high performing teams and influencing business stakeholders

  • Proven leadership on complex multi‑stakeholder engagements, with track record of delivering solutions from concept to change management on time/budget

  • Exceptional planning and analytical skills, ability to discern research information / data and focus on the critical business issues

  • Highly developed relationship management skills to effectively manage relationships across the Bank, its partners and external vendors

  • Exceptional presentation and written communication skills
