<p>Akkodis is seeking a <b>Part-time Desktop Support Specialist (Onsite)</b> for a <b>contract position</b> with our client in <b>Dorval, QC</b>. The ideal candidate will be available to work additional hours every other week as needed.</p><p><b>Position: Part-time Desktop Support Specialist (Onsite)</b></p><p><b>Location: Dorval, QC</b></p><p><b>Long-Term Contract</b></p><p><br></p><p>Part-time: 3 to 4 hours per week.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Job Description</b></p><ul><li>Provide day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.</li><li>Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, applications, and security patches.</li><li>Manage and support user accounts, access permissions, and password resets.</li><li>Support video conferencing, printing, and collaboration tools.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions in the client’s ticketing system.</li><li>Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams as needed.</li><li>Coordinate with IT infrastructure and application teams for issue resolution.</li><li>Perform routine system checks and preventive maintenance.</li><li>Ensure adherence to client IT policies, security guidelines, and compliance requirements.</li><li>Provide end-user training or knowledge transfer on common IT issues.</li></ul><p></p>
