For further information, please refer to Madison Homes’ website at MadisonGroup.ca.</p><p>The Role:</p><p>We are seeking a highly organized and proactive <strong>Design Project Manager</strong> to join our Interior Design team and work closely with the Design Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating multiple design-related projects, ensuring alignment between design intent, technical execution, and project schedules. </p><p>This role involves close collaboration with outsourced interior design firms, internal design development and construction teams, as well as external consultants, suppliers, and agencies.</p><p>The Design Project Manager will bring a strong background in interior design or architectural project management in high-rise construction, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to balance creative vision with technical and operational requirements to achieve efficient, high-quality project delivery.</p><p>As the Design Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Planning, organizing, and implementing design-related projects from concept through completion.</li><li>Leading and coordinating design meetings and managing communications with consultants and external agencies.</li><li>Reviewing Architectural, Interior Design, and MEP drawings to identify and resolve design-intent clashes.</li><li>Collaborating closely with outsourced Interior Design Consultants on all ID-related aspects.</li><li>Conducting detailed shop drawing and hardware schedule reviews.</li><li>Creating scope comparison charts to assist with engaging finishing contractors.</li><li>Conducting regular site walk-throughs to monitor progress and quality.</li><li>Collaborating with site teams during walk-throughs to assess construction progress and compile clear, actionable site reports.</li><li>Sourcing suitable finishes and materials for ongoing high-rise projects.</li><li>Creating and updating comprehensive interior design specification packages.</li><li>Coordinating with contractors and vendors for high-rise and specialty project deliverables.</li><li>Assisting in the development and execution of project-dependent suite upgrade programs.</li><li>Creating project-specific master finishes charts and obtaining vendor pricing.</li><li>Reviewing project colour charts for trade and construction distribution.</li><li>Assisting with custom suite purchaser meetings and site coordination.</li><li>Performing other duties as required to support overall project success.</li></ul><p>Required Skills and Qualifications: </p><ul><li>Interior-Design or Architectural Technology background in high-rise construction.</li><li>Must demonstrate initiative, diligence, and follow-through.</li><li>Must demonstrate strong problem-solving and organizational skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. </li><li>Ability to communicate and direct effectively.</li><li>Efficient in Bluebeam, CAD, Sketch-up, Microsoft Project, Excel.</li><li>Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator and Revit preferred.</li><li>Travel is required within Toronto and the GTA – Valid Driver’s License Required</li></ul><p>Madison Group celebrates diversity and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
