Delivery/Service Technician

Job Description

<ol><li><p>Delivery and Installation of products to client's homes and health care facilities as needed</p></li><li><p>Inform sales consultant of any additional products / equipment is required. Report immediately any situation that occurs that the product deems to be unsafe or that the client seems incapable of using the product / products safely and securely.</p></li><li><p>Instruct clients of proper use of products and maintenance requirements when applicable as per the policies and procedures.</p></li><li><p>Diagnose and repair walkers, manual / power wheelchairs and other mechanical and powered equipment as required and authorized by MED+ in clients home or long term / retirement facilities.</p></li><li><p>Program and set up basic power equipment.</p></li><li><p>Assist Sales Consultants in assessment and dispensing of equipment.</p></li><li><p>Positive and up to date communication with the Service Manager of any changes in the scheduling of the build department, deliveries or repair appointments.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all required paperwork is updated with comments, dates, times and signatures are handed in at the end of the day.</p></li><li><p>Service Technicians are required at times to collect monies from the clients we serve. Technician is required to ensure payment is received before leaving a product with the client unless stated and approved otherwise by their respected supervisor or manager.</p></li><li><p>Ensuring the appropriate product, paperwork, and tools have been provided and loaded on a day to day basis.</p></li><li><p>Accountable for shop tools provided</p></li><li><p>Pick equipment from stock to process for delivery</p></li><li><p>Use ERP system (QuickBooks) to update order status and serial number(s)</p></li><li><p>Clean returned rental equipment and restock for future use</p></li><li><p>Maintain a clean and safe warehouse</p></li><li><p>Comply with all health and safety regulations</p></li><li><p>Maintain a positive attitude at all times.</p></li></ol><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: $43,000.00 per year</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Company car</li><li>Company events</li><li>Dental care</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>On-site parking</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Store discount</li><li>Vision care</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
