We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our remote team and take ownership of building and scaling data solutions using Databricks on AWS. This is a hands-on senior IC role with strong influence on architecture and implementation.
What You'll Do
Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL / ELT pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, and AWS
Work with large, complex datasets in production environments
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python and advanced SQL
Build pipelines from scratch, not just maintain existing ones
Ensure data quality, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
Collaborate closely with product, analytics, and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
Contribute to architectural decisions and data engineering best practices
What We're Looking For
7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
Strong, hands-on experience with: Python, SQL (advanced), PySpark, Databricks (production experience required) and AWS
Proven experience designing and building end-to-end data pipelines
Solid understanding of distributed data processing and data modeling
Strong communication skills
Fluent English, both written and spoken
Location:
This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be based in regions that align with the Pacific, Central, or Eastern U.S. time zones to ensure effective collaboration with client and team schedules.

Position Details
This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
