Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects ranging from subgrade, gravel finishing, to underground services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of construction management software, and expertise in reading blueprints and schematics. This role involves supervising construction teams, ensuring quality control, managing budgets, and maintaining adherence to project timelines and safety standards. The Construction Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering successful projects that meet client specifications and industry regulations.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate execution of plans.
  • Oversee quality control processes to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and project execution.
  • Monitor project timelines and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure safety protocols are followed and work meets quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Must have experience operating dozers, excavators, and other heavy equipment.
  • Proven experience in construction management with supervising responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction estimating, and budgeting processes.
  • Excellent understanding of quality control procedures within the construction industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and clients.
  • Prior experience in supervising construction crews or teams is highly preferred.
