Certified Forklift Operator
Job Description
Our Calgary clients are looking for experienced forklift operators to help with several projects They value hard work, teamwork and a "get-it-done" attitude, with a solid track record of safety for their employees If you are detail oriented, enjoy working in a team and like a fast-paced environment – this may be the perfect opportunityResponsibilities:
- Operating forklifts to safely load and unload product within the warehouse.
- Identify and prepare orders for shipment, inspecting any flaws or damage.
- Order picking, using an RF Scanner, ensuring accurate selection of items.
- Regular safety inspections of the forklift, communicating any issues directly to the supervisor.
- General Warehouse tasks as required.
Requirements:
- 1 to 2+ years of warehouse experience with proven proficiency on the forklift.
- Current forklift certification would be well regarded.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks, lifting up to 50lbs regularly.
- Experience loading, unloading, and maneuvering loads.
- Must be a good communicator with strong attention to detail.
- Accountable and responsible to proactively and effectively resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
- Steel-toed boots in good repair are required.
