As a BAS Technician you will be involved in the installation, commissioning and servicing of commercial building automation systems. This position requires a good working knowledge of PC fundamentals, PC Networking/LAN, basic electronic theory and Building <span >Electrical/Mechanical</span> systems. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Assist in delivering BAS solutions to our customer base within the <span >Construction/Operation</span> Department.</li><li>Assist with site commissioning, point to point verifications, troubleshooting and startup of a variety of Building Automation Systems.</li><li>Learn and demonstrate a thorough understanding of Ainsworth Safe Work and H&S Policies.</li><li>Understand fundamentals of how HVAC systems operate on commercial buildings.</li><li>Work with and understand HVAC and Digital Control fundamentals</li><li>Demonstrate working knowledge of BAS Networking and Building System Integration.</li></ul><p><strong> Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid Driver’s license.</li><li>Fluent in English – both written and oral.</li><li>The ability to read and understand construction plans and specs and product documentation.</li><li>Graduate of Post-Secondary technical or engineering program.</li><li>Fluent in Microsoft Office.</li><li>Medium physical duties, the ability to stand for long periods of time in a construction environment, the ability to climb ladders and at times work from heights.</li></ul><p><br />While we appreciate all applications we receive, we advise that only candidates under consideration will be contacted. </p><p><em>Ainsworth (a GDI Company) is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
