BRANCH MANAGER

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE BRANCH MANAGER

As the Branch Manager you will develop, manage, and implement the branch business plan and operating budget, retail audits, sales objectives and keep all invoicing and accounts receivable in accordance with company policy and direct all aspects of daily operations, including maintenance and repair of the facility to ensure safety, efficiency, and profitability.

You will consult with customers, supplies, division management and other appropriate industry personnel to promote products and services and execute a culture of care and comply with all industry regulatory and EH&S standards.

You will manage all aspects of human resources within 2 small branches and 6 staff, including hiring, promoting, performance management, coaching and discharging within company policy and regulatory compliance and oversee all record keeping functions including recording sales and monies received, maintaining inventory records, and requisitioning supplies in accordance with sales projections and the movement of products within market area.

AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THIS UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY?

Ideally 7+ years of progressively responsible agri-business experience, from the crop input/crop protection industry, or a similar agri-business provider such as farm equipment sales, and/or farm equipment manufacturing.
A minimum of 2+ years of leadership or staff management experience is required.
A Certificate in Agriculture, Agri-Business Certificate, or equivalent post-secondary education (combinations of education and experience maybe considered) is also considered an asset.
A track record in crop input and fertilizer sales, marketing and branch management/budgeting is considered an asset as is a strong agronomic background.
Must have a valid Canadian driver's license.
