Location: Ottawa, ON, Hybrid. 3 days on site, 2 days remote

About the Opportunity
Our client, a large public sector organization, is looking for a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist to support full cycle recruitment across a diverse workforce. This is a fast paced, people focused role where you will help shape candidate experience while ensuring hiring practices align with legislation, policies, and collective agreements.
You will work closely with hiring managers, HR partners, and candidates from a wide range of professional backgrounds. From skilled trades to corporate functions, your work will have a direct impact on building strong teams that support essential services in the community.

Your Responsibilities
- You will support full cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and reference checks
- In this role, you will coordinate interviews, prepare evaluation tools, and guide hiring managers through the selection process
- You will draft offers and employment documentation while ensuring compliance with policies and legislation
- You will coordinate onboarding steps including pre-employment checks and internal system processes
- You will contribute to employer branding efforts through sourcing strategies, outreach, and recruitment events
- You will track recruitment metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in recruitment or human resources
- Experience supporting multiple job competitions in a fast paced environment
- Strong bilingual communication skills in English and French
- Knowledge of employment legislation and structured hiring processes
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and confidentiality
- Comfortable using HR systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office
