Job Description
Telecon is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our growing Civil Team! This is a field position/on the road based out of Port Perry.<br /><br />Working under the supervision of the Foreman, the AZ Driver will drive various types of vehicles and trucks as well as perform some Labourer duties to support the Civil Team.<br /><br /> YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO : <br /><br /> Manage the vehicles and its actions; responsible for identifying weight as to not exceed vehicle requirements<br /> Load and unload heavy equipment in a secure and damage free manner<br /> Transport cargo and/or equipment utilizing various combinations of truck and trailer<br /> Complete the Driver's daily pre-trip, en-route and post-trip vehicle inspections<br /> Complete the Driver's logbook, accident, or incident reports<br /> Maintaining a clean and orderly vehicle (interior and exterior)<br /> Digging/holes and trenches, pulling cable<br /> Operating tools and equipment and supporting the crew as needed<br /> General site preparation and clean-up as directed<br /> Other duties as required<br><br>Job Type: Full-time<br /><br />Pay: $40.57 per hour<br /><br />Expected hours: 50 per week<br><br>Licence/Certification:<br /> ARZ or AZ License (required)<br /><br />Work Location: In person
