A day in the life…


A day in the life of a Collision Repair Estimator begins with a friendly and professional demeanor, setting the tone for an exceptional customer experience. You’ll start by examining vehicles, accurately estimating the extent of damage, and determining the necessary structural, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs. Clear communication with clients and the dealership ensures everyone is aligned, and you’ll work diligently to verify and document all information while completing estimates promptly. Throughout the day, you’ll participate in production meetings, collaborate with team members to meet repair facility KPIs, and uphold policies and procedures. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs make a meaningful impact on customer satisfaction and the shop's success.


What we look for…



  • Experience with OEM repair procedures, and insurance policies.

  • Proficient with programs such as Mitchell Repair Center, Mitchell Connect, Mitchell Tech Advisor, etc.

  • Communicate and negotiate with insurance claims appraisers.

  • Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative.

  • Ability to multi-task and keep organized in a timely manner.

  • Detail-oriented and accurate in all work and communication.
