We are currently only looking for an apprentice with a Y3 or Y4 status. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians to learn and develop your skills in vehicle maintenance and repair.</p><p>To be successful as a mechanic apprentice, you should be good with your hands and have strong attention to detail. Ultimately, a top-notch mechanic apprentice has a good understanding of mechanics and great customer service skills.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Following company-created checklists to inspect and test vehicles.</li><li>Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.</li><li>Learn and apply proper safety protocols and procedures.</li><li>Perform standard mechanical repairs.</li><li>Learn repair techniques under the supervision of the mechanic.</li><li>Test vehicles before and after repair procedures.</li><li>Maintain the workshop and customer areas and keep inventory areas well-organized.</li><li>Take engines and other car parts apart to perform inspections.</li><li>Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>High school diploma or GED.</li><li>Y3 or Y4 status card.</li><li>Enrolled in or completed a recognized automotive service technician apprenticeship program.</li><li>Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment.</li><li>Must have a valid driver1s license and be familiar with both manual and automatic transmission types.</li><li>Strong understanding of mechanics.</li><li>Excellent customer service and communication skills.</li><li>Good analytical skills.</li><li>Physical fitness and stamina to stoop, crawl, work laying down, and lift heavy machinery.</li></ul><h3>How to Apply</h3><p>If you are passionate about vehicles and eager to learn, we want to hear from you!
