<p>Insight Global is looking for a Windows Infrastructure Engineer to join one of North America's largest retail and wellness organizations. This is a 6 month contract, with the possibility of extension - contingent on performance. As a Windows Infrastructure Engineer, you'll work collaboratively across diverse teams, while also independently contributing to the following key responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Act as SME Windows endpoint (device) management capabilities </li><li>Provide guidance and production support for Windows endpoint (device) management in a complex, geographically distributed environment </li><li>Serve as an escalation point for all aspects of device lifecycle management (Enrollment, Configuration, Protection and Retirement), including, but not limited to: policy creation, task sequence creation, maintenance and troubleshooting, configuration profile development, OS updating, application packaging and management, endpoint Security </li><li>Automate and document standard operational procedures and processes </li><li>Continuously research and identify recommendations and solutions to improve and streamline the day-to-day, end-user, and business experience</li><li>Keep up to date with, and use current technology and industry best practices and standard </li><li>Use critical thinking and background to look at complex problems, offer feedback and guidance as to how to solve them, and be an active member of the team that delivers the ultimate solution </li><li>Collaborate with other teams, both technical and non-technical </li><li>Partner and work closely with: Operational and support teams, Intermediate and Senior Engineers </li><li>Occasionally participate in the implementation of projects</li><li>Provide accurate and timely updates to product and project management about shifts in scope, requirements, timelines and prioritization</li><li>Practice inclusion and enjoy being a role model; listening, clearly and openly communicating, educating and informing</li><li>Provide clear and effective communication, documentation and reporting on technical/complex information, concepts, solutions and decision point</li><li>Participate in Community of Practice and project-based meetings</li><li>Key tools and applications used by this role: <b>ServiceNow, Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM). Microsoft PowerShell, Jira, Confluence</b></li></ul><p><br></p><p>Required Skills & Experience</p><ul><li>3+ years of relevant Enterprise Mobility Management (Windows) experience </li><li>Good knowledge of Entra ID, Microsoft/Office 365, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities</li><li>Comfort working in complex and large-scale environments </li><li>Successful track record delivering quality results on complex cross-functional projects</li></ul><p>The Ability to: </p><ul><li>Maintain and troubleshoot solutions and remote management of device lifecycle in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM)</li><li>Act as a level 3 escalation point for operational tickets in all aspects of Device Lifecycle Management</li><li>Analyze and document trends and identify recommendations for solutions and streamlining </li></ul><p>Experience with:</p><ul><li>ServiceNow</li><li>Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM)</li><li>Intune</li><li>Microsoft PowerShell </li><li>Jira </li><li>Confluence</li></ul>
