**Job Title: Welder**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team, where you will perform both Mig and Tig welding tasks. You will be responsible for fitting and welding stainless steel enclosures of various shapes and sizes, utilizing a robotic welder for bushing welds, and ensuring that pressure-tested vessels are welded without leaks. Your work will be guided by blueprints and shop drawings, and you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
**Responsibilities**
Perform Mig and Tig welding tasks.
Fit and weld stainless steel enclosures with variable shapes and sizes.
Utilize a robotic welder for various bushing welds.
Weld pressure-tested vessels with no leaks.
Interpret and weld according to blueprints and shop drawings.
Use both metric and standard measurements.
Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
Follow proper procedures when setting up and using welding equipment.
**Essential Skills**
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Mig and Tig welding, with a minimum of 2 years of Tig experience.
Ability to fit and weld stainless steel enclosures using both Tig and Mig techniques.
Competency in interpreting welding symbols and drawings/blueprints.
Experience with pressure vessels, as well as stainless and mild steel.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Certified Welding Bureau welding certificate preferred (expired or no ticket also acceptable).
Forklift experience is nice to have.
Experience operating other welding equipment, including grinders, sand belts, ironworkers, and band saws.
Overhead crane operation is a nice-to-have skill.
