Position Overview:
Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with a well-established organization to recruit a Junior Human Resources Generalist. This is an entry level role, ideal for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys supporting HR operations under the guidance of the HR Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding new hires

  • Prepare offer letters, employment documentation, and coordinate orientation for new employees

  • Act as a first point of contact for HR-related employee inquiries and provide support to Payroll for HR-side processes

  • Support WCB claims administration, including reporting, tracking, and return-to-work coordination

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and files in compliance with policies and regulations

  • Assist with HR projects, audits, and process improvements as required

Requirements:

  • Legally entitled to work in Canada and reside in the Winnipeg area

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • 1–3 years of HR experience, ideally in recruitment, HR operations, or payroll support

  • Experience with WCB claims or workplace injury administration is an asset

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning HRIS/payroll systems

Rewards:

  • Salary range of $50,000 to $60,000
