Position Overview:
Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with a well-established organization to recruit a Junior Human Resources Generalist. This is an entry level role, ideal for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys supporting HR operations under the guidance of the HR Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding new hires
Prepare offer letters, employment documentation, and coordinate orientation for new employees
Act as a first point of contact for HR-related employee inquiries and provide support to Payroll for HR-side processes
Support WCB claims administration, including reporting, tracking, and return-to-work coordination
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and files in compliance with policies and regulations
Assist with HR projects, audits, and process improvements as required
Requirements:
Legally entitled to work in Canada and reside in the Winnipeg area
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
1–3 years of HR experience, ideally in recruitment, HR operations, or payroll support
Experience with WCB claims or workplace injury administration is an asset
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning HRIS/payroll systems
Rewards:
Salary range of $50,000 to $60,000
