<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>As a Warehouse Freezer Associate you will play a key role in contributing to the continued success of Silver Hills Bakery whose mission is to inspire individuals to live a healthy lifestyle. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic production work environment and will have the opportunity to learn new skills and work in a team setting. In this role, you are responsible for completing the duties listed below as well as other duties as assigned by your manager or their designate.</p><ul><li>Follow all safety and quality standards as set out by the company</li><li>Locate, pick, wrap and stage outgoing product in freezer environment</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations</li><li>Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area</li><li>Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout plant manually and using powered equipment</li><li>Operate and drive straight trucks to transport goods and materials over urban and short inter-urban routes</li><li>Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage</li><li>Check, weigh, and count materials and products</li><li>Complete order picking, packing, and receiving</li><li>Material handling, inventory, clean-up, packaging, and other elemental activities in processing and manufacturing</li><li>Complete reports by entering the required information</li><li>Other duties as required</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>• Forklift Certificate</p><p>• Able to lift 25kg repeatedly</p><p>• Basic RF and computerized WMS knowledge</p><p>• Able to work flexible shifts</p><p>• Basics mathematic skills</p><p>• Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral</p><p>• Ability to work independently and in a team environment</p><p>• Must have a positive attitude</p><p>• Have excellent communication and organizational skills</p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Extended Healthcare Plan (Medical, Disability, Dental & Vision)</li><li>Group RRSP</li><li>Employee Discounts</li><li>Employee Assistance Program - Counseling</li><li>On-site Parking</li></ul></p></p>
