About the Role

As a Veterinary Assistant at Petworks, you'll:

• Support veterinarians and RVTs during exams, treatments, and procedures
• Comfort, handle, and restrain patients safely and gently
• Prepare and clean exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites
• Monitor and care for hospitalized patients under the supervision of an RVT or veterinarian
• Assist with diagnostic testing, sample collection, and basic lab work
• Communicate with and support clients, ensuring a positive experience for pets and their people
• Maintain accurate medical records and keep supplies organized

What We're Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant (preferred)
• Knowledge of animal handling, restraint, and basic clinical procedures
• Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills
• A positive attitude, adaptability, and passion for patient care
• Laboratory or front desk experience considered an asset
