<p>If you're working in the financial/accountancy sector and have a few hours each month to share your talent and passion for number crunching, Headway Nottingham would love to hear from you.<br><br><strong>About The Role<br><br></strong></p><ul><li>Working with the relevant staff and committee members to oversee the financial affairs of the organisation and ensure its sustainability.</li><li>Helping us to maintain and continuously improve our financial procedures and governance.</li><li>Reporting back to the Board on the financial health of Headway Nottingham.</li><li>Liaising with relevant staff to appraise the viability of plans, proposals and feasibility studies.</li><li>Working closely with Charlotte, our CEO, to produce our annual budget.</li><li>Attending a once-monthly evening meeting (quarterly in-person) and occasional subcommittee meetings as required. Committing to subcommittees is optional, depending on your availability.</li><li>The role of Treasurer has a key Board function, so we need you to be responsive and reliable, albeit within the confines of your existing commitments.<br><br></li></ul>Your experience<br><br>If you're working in the financial/accountancy sector and have a few hours each month to share your talent and passion for number crunching, we'd love to hear from you.<br><br>Experience or understanding of the issues surrounding brain injury and/or the charitable sector are an advantage, however are not prerequisites as our knowledgeable team will support your learning and answer any questions you may have.<br><br>Although the Treasurer role is unpaid, we're sure that when you understand our cause and impact, you'll feel as passionately about making a difference as we do.
