The Technical Sales Representative – Spray Applied Systems is responsible for driving sales growth within the assigned territory by promoting SOPREMA's spray foam insulation, cellulose, spray-applied acoustic, and fireproofing solutions.

This is a sales-driven role with strong emphasis on territory development, pipeline management, and CRM discipline. While technical and equipment knowledge is essential, the primary objective is to generate revenue, expand market share, and build long-term contractor partnerships.

You will combine consultative selling with technical credibility to influence specifications, support contractors, and position SOPREMA as the preferred spray systems partner.

  • Achieve and exceed annual sales targets for spray-applied systems within the assigned territory.

  • Develop and execute a structured territory growth plan focused on insulation contractors, fireproofing applicators, acoustical specialists, and general contractors.

  • Proactively prospect and secure new accounts while strengthening relationships with existing customers.

  • Drive specification with architects, engineers, consultants, and specification writers.

  • Maintain a robust and accurate sales pipeline using Salesforce, ensuring all opportunities, projects, and activities are updated consistently.

  • Manage forecasting, budgeting input, and territory reporting with a high level of CRM discipline.

  • Conduct product presentations, sales calls, and customer meetings to position value-based system solutions.

  • Support contractors with technical guidance and basic spray equipment troubleshooting to minimize downtime and protect product performance.

  • Coordinate with internal teams (technical services, logistics, operations) to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market developments to identify growth opportunities.

  • Represent SOPREMA at industry events and trade shows to strengthen brand visibility and generate leads.

  • Collaborate with other SOPREMA divisions to cross-sell and maximize territory penetration.

Your Education :

  • Diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent years of hands-on industry experience in construction materials, insulation, fireproofing, or related spray-applied systems

Your Knowledge :

  • Experience in spray foam, cellulose, fireproofing, acoustical systems, or related construction materials.

  • Strong understanding of the commercial construction industry and contractor-driven sales cycles.

  • Working knowledge of spray equipment (proportioners, pumps, hoses, spray guns) sufficient to support contractor conversations and basic troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with construction documents, specifications, fire ratings, and acoustic performance metrics is an asset.

Your Skills and Attitudes :

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within construction materials or specialty systems.

  • Strong "hunter" mentality with the ability to generate new leads and convert opportunities into revenue.

  • Highly disciplined in CRM usage, pipeline management, and forecasting accuracy.

  • Consultative selling approach with excellent listening and problem-solving skills.

  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently within a defined territory.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable supporting contractors in field environments when required.

  • Professional, ethical, and aligned with SOPREMA's values.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital communication tools.

Your Work conditions :

  • Permanent, full time;

  • Territory travel by vehicle, with the possibility of some overnight travel.

The Physical requirements :

  • Some heavy lifting of product is required.
